The person responsible for the setting up of the firm is Mrs.Kasthuri Krishnan. A woman, full of energy and enthusiasm and one who always is on the move for success for the legal firm she established and will not stop until the objective is achieved.

Not happy with what she was when she started as legal clerk in an established legal firm, she laboured on to fulfill her dreams of becoming a lawyer herself and setting up her legal firm.

"The break came when in 1995 she graduated with an Honors Law Degree (LLB Hons) from the University of London and then with a certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) which saw her achieving and fulfilling her childhood dreams.

As a person with high intellect and business acumen, she did not immediately set up her firm but began by accumulating and collecting experience by working as a Legal Assistant in a number of established Legal Firms. The experience that she gained as a Legal Assistant involved in corporate negotiation, conveyancing and also of course arguing out her case in court of law helped a lot in time to come.

Only after being satisfied with what she has gained and learned and armed with experiences and knowledge, the break came in 1999, when KASTHURI & CO was setup. Thus, the road to bigger success began. With one assistant to assist her to manage the day to day clerical task and with sheer hard work and commitment she gained the confidence of the various sectors in the financial institutions housing developers, business organization at corporate and medium levels and the individual with legal needs.
